The World

Arcturus, also called "The Celestial Plane" it is a sea of stars made of the roaring waves of the clouds, and communites of spirits like towns and cities are established in sky islands. Everything functions in the tranquility of simbiosis.

It is a peaceful place, and while conflicts do occassionally happen; prior the events of Nightbringer, most people are unused to bigger threats.

The Myth

The Symphony and all of its themes

They say that the celestial plane is a tapestry woven by music from primordial times. Ineffable as all forces of nature are, but present in everything, and the stars sing and dance to it, as do all other creatures who wander through the vast sky.

Flora

Celestial plant life is abundant in Arcturus. Some islands can have an arid biome, and some are temperate forests, but they're all full of beautiful bioluminescent plants, bright and lively full of energy they dance to the wind and illuminate unexpected paths to visitors as well as those coming back to their home in Arcturus. They are purely magical beings, eternal, and do not wither. With every change of the seasons their pigmentation changes, some go dormant, some become bigger and brighter

Trees are incredibly big; and forests are incredibly dense. All trees are very animated beings who have their own thoughts and needs, and guardian trees are protectors of the forests, they are capable of becoming a more humanoid spirit but they usually stay in their forest. Flowers and crops love collaborating with the fae and together they create beautiful farms and houses in the wild, and provide food for those who like to eat; because most beings in Arcturus don't really have the need to, it is a social event that many enjoy.

Fauna

Celestial beings of different shapes and sizes, some move around the ocean travelling from island to island or they can be sedentary and established in an island or archipelago. It depends on their specific needs and interests, for they all have their unique personalities and ways of thinking.

• As mentioned before the sky is also an ocean, and can be traversed like one.
• Seasons exist due to the change of winds and the rotation of the stars; trees and plants change in color and spirits have different reactions to it like dormancy or entering a more active state.
